Archive of the uncategorised (iv) - 'Concerto pour un rêve' - is an in situ installation in a former retirement home in Hoegaarden, built at the beginning of the 19th Century.

The work - in the form of 8 rooms in one wing of the complex - functions as a 'chronotopic capacitor'. Through the interpretation and mutation of traces and objects that were left behind, an echo of past and future possibilities is projected onto the space.

This 'chronotope' attempts to establish it's own internal logic and meaning whilst at the same time it is confronted with the actual and possible pasts of the given space. It is a dialogue between the reflection and the image, between the voice and its echo, between what was and what could have been.
